In 2017, the ISO 44001 standard for collaborative business relationship management (BRM) systems was released. During his presentation at the BRMConnect 2018 conference in San Diego on October 2nd, Mart Rovers of INTERPROM will introduce this new auditable ISO standard, which specifies the minimum requirements for the effective identification, development and management of collaborative business relationships within or between organizations.
The standard includes establishing a collaborative business relationship management system an organization should aspire implementing and improving and how this system can then serve as the foundation that can be applied to the collaboration lifecycle with internal and external business partners.
Mart explains the eight stages the standard identifies in the lifecycle of a collaborative business relationship. This includes stages that focus on the planning of the business relationships, developing the business case, assessing the collaborative profile and value creation.
Participants of this session will not only have better understanding of what the standard offers and how to benefit from it, but also how BRMiBOK® concepts, principles and techniques of the BRM Institute can be instrumental in meeting the requirements of the ISO 44001 standard.
Attendees of the conference have first access to a white paper elaborating on this topic. The white paper will be published on interpromusa.com afterwards.
